FFS I emailed introversion twice. Not even one reply or one that pointed to this forum. Actually Steam had a pointer while I was looking how to get my money back. As a game developer I love the game but the 'turret' bug drove me mad!

Please Introversion, READ your email. Hopefully the excuse is "too busy fixing turret bug".

cheers, Joshua

ps. Love the references to game development issues. "Pattern Buffer" invested! You IV guys got me rolling over the floor! Must have been a laugh to build it. The old school loaders allmost made me cry. Those where the days having only two registers and an accumulator....

Their excuse is more likely, "Too busy trying to get Defcon finished while doing some much needed bug fixing on Uplink".

If you love the old days, like learning and using the "features" of a Z80, then you'll easily learn to love to "use" this "feature".
Uplink help: Check out the Guide or FAQ.
Latest Uplink patch is v1.55.

yes it has taught me to set up my cannons in an optimum position that provides 100% enemy fatalities.

My covering arcs in Pattern Buffer were a beauty to behold.

now if I can only address those friendly fire 'incidents'...
