1) In order to "reset" Darwinia so that it does not try to load the mod every time you start the game, you will need to open up preferences.txt, and change two lines:

Code: Select all

ModName = none
UserProfile = none [or one that you know works]

This will unload the mod so that you can start Darwinia.

2) The "Invalid Map File Specified" error means that there is a file referenced in game.txt that does not exist in the levels/ directory. As I am not sure that Darwinian Commando is being supported anymore, there may not be any way to fix this problem.

xander. With an "x".

With regards to EW2, from where did you download it? I would suggest trying again, from http://stellarmatter.net . If the shape files are still missing, let trickfred know, so that he can fix it.
