Ok
So I posted my issue here: http://forums.introversion.co.uk/darwin ... 2649#32649
Since upgradeing to a new machine darwinia has been running slow and choppy. I checked my drivers and directX etc and everything is up to date.
I tried changing the affinity on the exe file and it still runs choppy
Here is my system:
Windows XP X64 eddition
AMD X@ 4400+
7800 GTX
2 Gigs corsair XMS
This should run darwinia with no problem but even after reading through the list of reported bugs and trying some of the fixes in there i still have no luck
If anyone has any thoughts on this that would be great/

Have you tried this?:

The fix outlined there worked for people with near-identical setups as you.
