Crash on entering Generator
Today I started up Darwinia, and waited through a trippy old school intro thing, and tried to go to the level called 'Generator.' When I clicked on it the game crashed, and a box popped up asking me to send an error report to Microsoft. I did so and started the game up again, waited through an intro with a software ray trace thing, then tried the Generaotr level again. Same thing. So, I tried Darwinia again, but finished off the Mine level, and exited it, then once again, tried Generator. Still, no change. Any suggestions? It's quite frustrating.

If you still have an issue after reading those, you'll need to post more details about your problem before anyone can help you figure it out.

Thanks.
I've read both, and one: there's no black box report, and two: the section entitled 'It was working before I left, honest!' seems to be a bit more like what I encounter, though I didn't realize you could send squads by radar, and anyway never quit while units are moving.
My problem isn't terrain related as far as I can tell, I've had the level working before, but now it's not. The first time it wasn't working was when I was playing because my LAN was down and couldn't get to most of my other stuff. That may have something to do with it, though I can't think why, as far as I can tell Darwinia doesn't utilize my internet connection in any way, or need to have access to the rest of my network.
Also Darwinia is fully updated, according to one of the sticky threads the 'Steam version' is up to date and ordered the game through Steam. I tried downloading the patch just in case, but there was a problem when I tried to install it, apparently the sound.bat file wasn't included or something. I haven't yet tried making a new profile and starting over, as I would not like to have to go through the other, earlier levels again. Especially not 'Escort.'
