Darwinia crashes when I'm trying to continue where I left off on BioSphere.
I quit through the menus with no problem before this happened.
When I now click on BioSphere on the world map Darwinia crashes out with a Windows error. No blackbox file given.
Specs are
AMD 64 3000+
1GB RAM
GeForce 6600GT
MSI SLI K8N Platinum mobo
Soundblaster Live 24bit 7.1
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

So, you managed to play through to Biosphere without problems, started playing Biosphere, then quit, right? And now, when you start Biosphere, the game crashes?
My guess is that your user profile has become corrupted. Find your user directory, and look for a file called mission_bioshere_[somethingoranther].txt. If you open up that file, it will look liked garbled nonsense. Move that file to somewhere safe (or just delete it), and try playing the level again. If you get the same problem again, PM with the garbled file, and I will have a look through it (or search the forums for 'redshirt2' and decrypt it yourself).

Hi guys. I have had this problem also in the temple level so I deleted the TXT like you said and it worked and I started the level over but I wanted you to know that it work fine before I had stopped the game when the squbbies were in the stream from one raidar dish to another thats the only time that it happened to me is when I did that. I hope that helps
. I have another problem during the temple level or any level I guess but its been really bad during the temple level. When there is a lot of darwinians and a big battle and lots going my computer gets choppy and bogged down and after a while just crashes. I have an AMD 3200 64 bit with a ASUS K8N4-E deluxe motherboard and a nivida 7800 video card I realise that it may just be my computer not able to handle all the action but any tips from people better at computers then I would be appericated and thanks.
The only time my mission file got corrupted was also on Temple when I exited with squaddies in the radar beam. Fortunately the Goldfish fixed it for me:

Although of course he may not be able to do it all the time.
Regarding crashes in the later levels, I also had this but the first tip here (disabling realtime sounds and hardware sound) fixed it for me:

I think its a bug, not your PC.
