Even more! There should be parameter in editor which sets (how to call it...) "bugginess" or "bug intensity" value for location.

This sounds like it coule be it, I recently played through Darwinia again, running 1.42, encountering this problem 2-3 times on different maps, resetting the map fixed it for me, didn't try to restart back then.NEO|Phyte wrote:just created a map to test my theory.
