Underwater Camera

Postby xander » Tue Dec 28, 2004 12:11 am

Okay, I cannot seem to find this anywhere else:

If I hit [esc] to access the menu, I am still able to use [Q] and [E] to change the camera height. Furthermore, this allows the camera to go below the level of the water, and through land. If the camera is underwater when the menu is exited, it 'floats' back to the surface.

I will add a screenshot as soon as I can find a place to host such things...

[EDIT] Here we are:

P1 B5 Win32

Most of the camera problems seem to have been fixed, (can no longer go below water, above a certain height, doesn't slingshot if you decend into a hill) except for that it's still possible to go a seemingly infinate distance sideways.

EDIT: camera also still ignores collision detection with buildings, still quite interesting though, you can see right inside the moving cogs... :)
