Culling bug

Postby Janus » Wed Sep 08, 2004 4:39 am

I was moving around near the refinery and noticed that the mine carts get culled incorrectly when they're really close to the edge of the screen.

This actually happens with a few other objects as well, including the trees (depending on the tree size and camera angle.) The pixellation effect on certain units is lost when they're too close to the camera too.

Has anyone found any other objects that give the same/similar effects?

I'm sure I read that the loseing the pixelation effect when the camera was too close was deliberate.

Nonetheless, it's worth mentioning that it happens, as if it is deliberate, the way it is implemented may be causing the other bugs.
