Crash on gesture

Postby Hektik sniper » Sat Aug 28, 2004 12:29 pm

I was by the refinery at the center of the map, after having cleared the second island of virii and centipedes, Then i captured the buildings with my engineer. After this i created an officer and attempted to move the Darwinians up to the refinery to start it up. After i had got 4 in place, i turned my officer back into a normal Darwinian by mistake, and then went to get a new one via a gesture, as i opened the gesture window, i drew the V for a Officer and the game froze up, then gave me and standard error message followed by an application error.

This may well be another inarnation of the Officer bug. Had you deselected the officer at all from the time you created him? If not, then that's the problem.
I'm getting into the habit of deselecting units before reselecting and then issuing orders now :P
