Two problems

Postby burrteque » Sun Jul 06, 2008 11:07 pm

Hello,
I was trying to make my mod. Not a serious mod, just for fun. But the editor interface is difficult to be read. Fonts are too big. Text labels and input areas are obscuring each other. Is this a problem with my version (1.5.11)? Can I fix it in some way?

When I managed to create my first location, saved it and switched to profile which I had been playing on, I get this

I can't get to any location except that (or those) laying on the world's surface. Is it possible to return to the correct state?

As to the fonts, I don't think that I have ever seen that problem before. Have you tried several different resolutions? It is possible that you are using some funky resolution that is causing problems (though I wouldn't count on that).

As to the other problem, you can't use a profile that you have used in the main campaign or with a mod with any other mod. Each mod needs a new profile. It looks and sounds like you tried to use a profile from one mod (or the main campaign) with your mod. That won't work.

Now I know. I forgot that I had LARGE MENUS option turned on. With this option enabled changing resolution fixes the problem, but only on 640x480. I chose Automatic option and it's ok now. Thanks anyway.

As to the second problem... Yeah, in fact, I tried to use a mod from campaign. My fault.
But it doesn't matter. I'll play the game another time :D
