I wonder if it would be possible to make a darwinina in spore and have it able to survive. I'm guessing not since you probably need eyes and mouth and hands to get to civilisation mode. I wonder if you could genetically engineer your own species after it has built a civilisation, that way it could be completely backwards in evolutionary sense but still be able to survive.

Well if it's coming from Maxis, I believe parts of the game will be moddable. Just like The Sims.

So all we have to do, is create super-ultra-mega-tiny parts, and wal-la! :P

Please don't bump old topics unless you have something really significant to add.

^^Is bumping old topics really that bad? There really isn't a lot of activity here so it's not like it'll take attention away from newer topics.

There is nothing wrong with bumping old topics, per se. However, forums facilitate a form of communication and conversation -- a give and take. After a topic has grown to a certain age, the people that participated in that conversation have moved on to other things, and probably don't even care any longer (assuming they even remember the topic in the first place). Thus, if a topic is bumped so that a newbie can say "me too" or "cool" (as is the case here), the flow of conversation is gone, and the post doesn't make any sense, and doesn't need to be made. So, bumping old topics to say something interesting or new is fine, but bumping old topics to say basically nothing is generally frowned upon around here.

That, actually, is the other important thing. The culture of the boards here generally frowns on bumping. This may not be true of other boards. When in Rome... yes?

you can add just about everything-including teeth-and it can be out of sight

make it very very small (scroll wheel) and then turn it around until the color matches the rest of the skin. sometimes there's a little dot so i just put it under the creature if possible, which would be in this case.

Or you could just make stuff small and hide it under the footsies, I imagine?

After all, this at least adds something new to this thread. xander speaks the truth, though. 3 days in this case is a bit overtime, as well.

You're right.

I wish I had Spore. Has anyone tried to get ^ that Darwinian through all the stages of the game?
