TheGamerShow.com - Introversion Software Interview NOW OUT!!

Hey guys, we have released our official interview with Introversion Software.
You can listen now on our site at http://www.thegamershow.com

Make sure to listen in closely which Mark announces the secret word in the interview for your chances to win a FREE COPY of DARWINIA in our contest.

Mark also notes to a possible RELEASE DATE of Multiwinia.

Here are a few questions we asked Mark in our interview.

Question #1
What inspired the company to first start up; Was there a game that was being developed that never made it to the public as a result turned into another project?

Question #2
Offficially announced back in Feb 28th 2007 from the beautiful Vic from your forums, you have announced, Multiwinia. Being we are now in June 2007, where would you say development is now at for Multiwinia and if you could shed some light for our listeners, is there any improvements per the operating system; Windows XP per say Vista, or anything additional that would be added to the game for multiplayer, and if possible, when a TBA date might be.

Question #3
Okay, here at The Gamer Show we are very curious people and we always ask questions about how something first started. Now we have had a few requests about the way the games look. The design of the graphics is brilliant because it is modern and fresh but does not have complicated textures like the other games out there. Quite frankly, the way the games are designed is absolutely genius and we want to know what has inspired your designers to come up with this?

Question #4
Now that you have the 3 titles released which I think are like a suite of games all complementary to each other, the big question comes. Is there any hope in the future for a Massively Multiplayer Online title?

Question #5
I noticed that in a blog post on your forums there is a very powerful statement, and I quote "'To challenge perceptions, push boundaries, through the release of outstanding video games - to be free to explore.'
This certainly is an excellent attitude and I think that a lot of developers out there could do well to follow a quote like this. With that being said, what does the future hold for Introversion Software in general? Without being too revealing for our listeners, in a few words, could you maybe give us a glimpse of what is coming?

Question #6
On June 11 the world sort of got a shock when Steve Jobs got on stage and announced that id software and Electronic Arts will be developing for Mac starting in July and also porting some of their existing titles over to the Mac platform. From the perspective of the rest of the world, it does seem like the Macintosh is gaining steam as a gaming machine as well. With their latest hardware releases, this is quickly becoming a reality. Do you have any plans to strongly develop for the Mac?

Question #7
With the release of other gaming consoles around the world, being Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, would Introversion Software venture into say a virtual marketplace, being that you would release a game or two down the road, as example XBOX360's XBOX Live service. Would your company, or has your company thought about or planned to release DEFCON or Darwinia to these systems, and if so, you got your first buyer for sure when it hits XBL.
