Bumpity ~ It's been ages since I've been here, just learned about Defcon a few days ago ... naturally I already started working on a website (as I tend to do with whatever catches my interest)...
Has anyone seen any more than the four screenshots hosted on the IV website (plus the one in PCG UK)?

I've re-thought it.Phydaux wrote:Considering Defcon is so similar the the game in WarGames I believe the box art on the cover of the game should include the phrase:Joshua wrote:A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
"Defcon or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" Would be much better.

It can only be called that if I get to be Peter Sellers.
Tagline: Defcon - Like angry midgets flailing their arms at each other into utter devastation.
Speaking of bombs. Did you know that Zeppo Marx (the fourth marx brother) invented the clamps that were used to release the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He also owned the company that manufactured them.
That's your random fact of the day.

Oh wait, you were serious... Of course not.
Sorry, but what does this mean? Is the release date going to slip, or is April fairly solid? (Had to register to find out what you meant... you can't imagine how much I'm anticipating this game!!)

As Introversion themselves say:
IV wrote:As anyone who has been involved with Introversion Software in the past will tell you, these estimates are far from set in stone.
Members of the public and press who pin their hopes and dreams on these dates do so at their own peril.
