IV aren't known to make sequels. Each game they make is always new and fresh, etc.

However, check out some MODS :D

Mods can also be found here

Ooh thanks :-)

TBH I would have liked to have seen more tech levels, more units.. something about the depth of Dune2! But n/m, it was still a fun 18 hours!

Think I'll go sleep now, and find out if I'm still seeing virii when I close my eyes...

I think the episodic model hinted at with the demo would work quite well, but a full sequel? I can't see it happening, nor working if it does.

Don't see why it couldn't happen.

As stated in the Demo the Darwinians wanted to go to other computer systems. It'd be very easy to do something with that.

Start in the Yard, build a space shuttle (like the one in the demo) and head off. Then you arrive in another computer and have to do..something.

What that something is, I don't know.

Or play the big mod which I have nicknamed the 'campaign two'. It will in fact be a lot bigger than the original campaign when finished.

Actually I was half expecting to be asked to charge out into Cyberspace to help cleanse other systems. But perhaps this is partly where Mods come into the picture?

Well the big mod is a continuous storyline. I've planned six mods at the moment with some interesting storyline twists. The seventh could go anywhere looking at the end of six! :D </cryptic hinting>

Never!

Actually, "Our third game will be announced in PC Gamer UK issue 157, on sale December 22nd (Next thursday!)".

Notice that doesn't say a sequel as such. Will probably be completely unrelated to Darwinia actually but who can tell.

Aww, well I might have to buy it then, although it seems a bit unfair to have to buy a whole mag with coverdisk for one article.
