He's got you there, martin. Unless you are going to try and claim that "our" was inclusive of fez as well? 'Cause that ain't how it came across...
Now, that being said, fez, his reaction is certainly understandable. You are well within your rights to be pissed at martin -- his phrasing was out of line, and he wrote before thinking. However, the general sentiment that he expresses is valid. I can't speak for everyone on the boards, but we have something of a close knit community here. One of the things that I, personally, like about this community (when compared to other web boards) is the generally enlightened nature of conversation. There is not a lot of meaningless garbage on these boards. In some ways, many of us are worried that the new Steam release will attract a lot of new people to the boards, and that those new people, not being long standing members of the community, will lower the collective IQ of the boards.
So far, the general tone of the boards has not shifted that much. I hope this remains the case. However, martin was reacting in fear of change. Can you find it in your heart to forgive him (or at least ignore his ravings like the rest of us do)?.

haha, of course i forgive him. I just wasn't happy with the tone of the post, it was posted in the context that us newer members are intruders or something. Anyway I'd like to apologise for my pointless addition to the post. Im a member of many other forums and we use garbage threads such as this to perform a 'freepost' just as pointless as the start of the thread, until the thread is deleted of course.

Didn't mean to cause any trouble, or to spam, I was indeed referencing the time-based easter egg, or 'christmas egg' I should say. Being of he disorganized type the date on my computer was a day ahead, the the snow-fall came early
