I'd force the router to disconnect a few times to get new IP goodness, but that would severley piss off the rest of the house.

I'll formulate a plan for the next round. -Possibly a wardrive.

Anyway, about the emails, I dont get them, I didn't get any of them, the only way I found out about my tester status was to come back and check the forum loads when a test was due to start.

I have heard loads of people moan about this, but meh.

Seriously, I dont want to come across as a bad looser and all but Darwinia was up by a clear 10 votes at around half 11 (possibly later, i can't quite remember).

Now I'm not going to suggest any foul play on GameFreaks part but: it does seem a little odd doesn't it? As does the "It was really close" shit.

I'll let everyone come to their own conclusions but seriously WTF, and why wasn't everybody voting anyway.

We lost 30:33. We got many more votes than Hl2 did, hell we got more votes than most rounds picked up for both competitors, and we still lost.

Ah well. Thats life.

It was rigged! I demand a recount! Several polling places in Florida were turning away black voters! There were irregularities in Ohio! It was rigged, I say!

Now, to see how many people on a non-American-centric board get the joke...

Seems like a fanatic Animal Crossing fan had a variable IP address, too. Well, at Gametunnel cheating is "prohibited" because you have to register at their forum to vote. The problem is that other indie games have got fanatic fans, too, and not too few of them. So EVERYONE who reads this post, you HAVE to sign up over there and vote for Darwinia. And tell your brother, uncle and grandmother to sign up, too. That is, only if they like Darwinia, of course. But who doesn't? :wink:

Its pretty cool that Darwinia even get as far as it does. I mean this is not one of those games that ppl know about. And its completely unique in every aspect of gameing... Wich I find very cool.

IMO The game is more worthy of winning than all the others I've seen just becaus of that.
