Maybe something like this will float your boat?

Quoting vic...

We're looking for anyone who's a dab hand at flash animation - if you think you could help us we'd love to take a look at your work so send me any samples to my email at vic@introversion.co.uk. And of course if we decide to use it, we'll be offering a financial reward

Well, I mean it's fine for a project, but you asked if we would buy this stuff as if it were for sale in an official capacity. My answer was basically "no, and I'd be a bit put off in seeing it actually." Don't let me stop you from making niffy Darwinia stuff, though! Obviously your motives are different than a corporation's, and I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. ;)

A Darwinian lamp. Something with geeky appeal.

i think the lamp idea is cool, but it would be hard to make it equally bright on the whole surface. if not it would be crappy.

i'd like a plush-centipede!

LOL, yeah. I think a fluffy range of all the characters in the game could be cool.
Fluffy:

Soul destroyers
Spiders
engineers (could be weird)
The darwinians in both colours
centipedes
triffids?
Flying egg layers.

I think i'd certainly buy a fluffy darwinian :)

Hypothetically speaking:

I would get these the instant I saw them:
mug
t-shirt (or any other clothing -- ball cap, socks, whatever...)
key chain doo-dad thingy
anything plush
stickers (to put on stuff)
action figures (Darwinians with bendable arms! oh noes!)
candy (little DG shaped sweet tart like things, Darwinia chocolate, &c.)

I probably would not care about the following things that others have mentioned:
mousepad (I have an optical mouse, and don't really use a pad)
post-it notes (little green post-it notes in the shape of DGs would be cool, but hard to use)
lamp (it would have to be very high quality for me to care... think Tiffany's style glass shade with a DG pattern, and a high quality bronze or bronze like base)

Pretty much sums up what I'd buy.
I would like a little bendable centipede though. I'm always fidgeting, and something like that would be nice.

Zeggie's Brain wrote:What colour would you make them though?
Surely It would have to be green?
