You really don't want to know, however, because you asked:

Once upon a time, there was a website at the url goatse.cx. It was a picture of a man with a very large anus. The url would often be hidden in links, or given to the unsuspecting. It was generally used to create shock and to offend people. See also: tubgirl.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goatse <-- not a link to the picture described above, however appropriate that might be :)

*bump bump*

Heys guys! Its been a while :) I really don't know what happened towards the end of my little lamp project things got a bit crazy and then year 12 was over and all was forgotten. Since then - ive all grown up and im doing my design engineering degree in the big city and no longer speaking like a lil script kidde (cuz omg i w4s totally ub3r l33thaxx0rs!) Nuff of that. I've just been keeping my self to myself - still venturing into Darwinia and Defon now and again mind you...

Anyway I was bashing through my old projects while putting my portfolio together and found the old (if rather rubbish) photos of the lighting panels i put together - I just figured you might want to see them, for sake of closure - if a few years late (again sorry i really do not know what happened there). A lot of inspiriation was drawn from (what is still) my favourite view from the game

Anyway have a ganders:

So panel one is rather simple - just one Darwinian with the green back light - the panel is motion sensitive with the brightness of the light being controlled by how far away the user is from the panel

Panel two is a little complicated with each face plate being riased above a cluster of RGB LEDs which allow me to control and chage the light colour behind the Darwinians depending on as number of variables (e.g. distance again) or as in the case of the picutres just fade and cycle through the colours. The satin finish melamine on the backing faces allows for some interssting caustics and reflections.

Quite simple really but not bad for an AS level school project.

Still, I'd never seen Dev's light panel Darwinians. Pretty cool! :D

I remember I saw Darwinia on G4 when I was really little and wanted it but never got it. Then years later my friend called me and said he found it at a clothing store for $5, and I had him get it for me. I was really excited. It came with the game, a poster, and a keychain. I think my mom got rid of the keychain and poster which I was really bummed about, now that I'm driving I would have really liked the keychain...
I thought it was really obscure that my friend found it on one of those racks of random games in clothing stores that no one ever buys, and it came with all that and was only $5
