I'm writing an OS

It has a console, and a bootloader, and it can boot itself, and it can REBOOT!

\o/ a console that can reboot. Give it the commands cd, delete, and disconnect, and you can play Uplink!

That's not the point, you mean a 80x25 character ASCII display, CGA is at least 320x200 pixel 4 colour display.

Umm. . . CGA had two text modes. 40×25 and 80x25, so he was entirely correct in his statement.
