installing without cd

This looks like a game I would like to play, but it seems like you have to have an cd to install it.

My ibm x40 laptop doesn't have one so I'm wondering if there is some way of installing without the cd (or will be soon).

If all else fails i recon there hopefully will be a linux warez release, but I would like to have a legit version.

Did you think you could buy it on floppy discs?

Or will the gamedata from the disc to the hdd?

Actually, yes there will. There is a plan for a Download system to be used, so you will be alble to buy the game and DL it. Sorted.

Have you read ANY of the documentation?

The windows install is sitting on the CD. The linux installer has it as an option to get the data off the CD, you can do it yourself however you want.

Copy the game data files from CD to a USB stick, copy it from there to the laptop. Or use a network cable, et cetera.

You don't need to run the installer at all, you can just copy the files around
