So is it <The Next Game> or <The Next Next Game>

I'm a-wondering.
Now that Darwinia is all-but out, and no longer need be referred to commonly as <The Next Game>; how do we refer to whatever it is that IV are cooking up for #3?
We could use a sort of absolute system, where Uplink was just Uplink, or "the first game" or "the one that started it all" etc etc... and then Darwinia is nominatively <The Next Game> for all eternity, and #3 is <The Next Next Game>. Trouble is, it's already getting quite long to type, and, based on the predicted success of this, relative to that of Uplink, #3 is inevitable, and #4 highly likely.
Alternatively, we could say that since Darwinia has (for some time) been named as such, we can refer to it as Darwinia, Uplink, similarly, as just Uplink, and then #3 earns the already-familiar title of <The Next Game>. Hence there will never be a <The Next Next Game> except where people are talking *very* hypothetically, and things are easier to type; on the downside this could lead to ambiguity among those Uplink Vets who are so utterly used to <The Next Game>="Darwinia" that they cannot think otherwise
Any views, or am I just being far too complicated?
