Selection for phase 1 is random based on hardware. They will be adding more soon so there is a good chance you could get in. Just hold on

You will get an email, and there will most likely be a post on the news about new testers being added too.

I also dearly wanted to be in the beta, being a whole long standing member of the Uplink community etc etc etc. However it is purely random via hardware, so while I am a bit disappointed in not getting in, it is not the be all and end all. It is after all just a game.

I shall patiently wait till the game is released, and purchase two copies. One for me and one for my fiancè. Until then I wish IV and all the beta testers the best of luck, and gods speed in getting it done.

Look at it this way, at least then you can enjoy the game without nagging bugs or it crashing on your every so often
