Epps, before you point your flamethrowers on me, I'd like to point out, once again, that coolsi hates me for being a 'spammy bastard' (as he kindly put it) in these forums. Well, I guess I proved him wrong. ^^

I don't hate you :|

You're probably right. We should stop this, all we're doing is causing Chris more work.

It's been fun, but let's let it die now, okay?

1. Exactly how are we 'breaking' the quote system.

If anything we're testing it to see how far it can go. In the name of Science. But I don't think we can physically break it.

2. How exactly does this cause Chris more work?

I'm sure that the page load times are not signifigantly impacted.
Look honey, I'm hax0ring the academic records, now I'll be able to get a job!

Introversion is a game developer, and a company. People will visit these forums and, based on their view of the forums, support and community, judge Introversion by it.

If all they see is a bunch of spam and nonsense, things tend to lose quality. This is what we have Moderators and common sense for: Not actively encouraging this behaviour and taking steps against it.

Chris will at one point have to weed out all the spam topics to keep the forum clean, and people running around creating more of them does not help the cause. The game might not be released yet, but that doesn't really justify spamming the forums just because there's nothing else to talk about.

Point taken?

You're a big spoilsport. I was gonna join in the quote pyramid, but now I'd feel guilty. Hate you.

Incidentally, what happens if you make a quote pyramid that goes

(text)
(quote)
(text)

Would it be even?
