I'd much prefer it to be "different to Uplink", which is exactly what Chris and co. are aiming for. If they manage it, the two games should be like chalk and cheese. You can't say one's better than the other, they'd both be appealing in different ways, to different audiences (of course, with a few common fans... Who likes eating chalk out there? )

depends, like it says there gunna pick people based on their computers spec's. Kinda like getting a random group of people for a jury... or one of those crappy science tests you did back in school

I would expect that most of the community will get to beta at one time or another. Often there is a cut down 'Open Beta' to test the code after the main work has been done.
