Mac custom level

Postby icemansab » Sat May 22, 2010 1:50 am

Okay, so I tried to read each of the threads, and i posted the data/levels/modfiles everywhere in the multiwinia application package contents. No go. Are these custom maps unable to be fit to a mac os?

Given that you have not actually explained what you have tried, let's start here: in the application package, there should be a file called "Contents/Resources/main.dat". main.dat is .rar archive, and can be expanded to create a directory called "data/". Any mods should go into this newly created "data/" directory. That being said, as mods are not officially supported, this may not work.

In a pinch, you might be able to replace "main.dat" with a modified version, though I seem to recall that Ambrosia implemented some kind of checksum system to make sure that that data files are legitimate and intact.
