Last game I played I was winning until Evilinians showed up.

There's nothing worse than pushing your opponent down to 6 spawns vs. 2, then having Evilinians take over two of yours. I was caught in a pincer, without the units to face either opponent, and the stronger right on top of my spawns.

To make my point: I've witnessed a good reason to make ranked servers Basic Crates Only.

Evilinians don't count on the ladder. In such a case, go for your human enemy and ignore the evilinians, all that matters is that you come ahead of him.

Doesn't Pinky really mean that he lost the match against the human player because of the Evilwinians hindering him by taking over spawns? I might agree on that one, nothing is more frustrating then having a fair game, then it being disturbed by an 'overpowered' powerup.

If that's BCO random drop locations, I'm breaking legs.

It was a three player map. I'd just eliminated the third player. The two spawns he'd started with I was barely holding on to - The second player had massed his forces to take over said spawns, and I was relying on the reinforcements from my other spawns to hold them. That was when I realised that I had no reinforcements to send, the Evilinians had taken over my back spawns.

Essentially I'd made a gambit here, which was thus:

Attack player 2, losing forces, weakening myself, but gaining more strength later on.

This choice was made because I had enough spawns to hold the new ones until I could recoup the losses. When my two spawns were taken over, the reason I'd taken the chance and leapt at the spawns disappeared instantly.

At the time, Player 2 had far more Multiwinians than I did, but he couldn't recoup his losses as fast. My advantage was taken away, and then quickly reversed as soon as Evilinians came into play.

The random part of the game is what can give it it's charm. Although I wouldn't be against a minor nerf of the plague in it's area of effect.

It can, but the ranking system makes it slightly competitive. And when you get nerfed like this in a competitive environment, it makes you feel cheated, which is why I suggested Basic Crates for ranked matches.

That didn't matter when the range of power ups was absurd.

The scores are currently being recalculated. The site will be back up shortly.

A very minor thing, but I'm showing this bit: "23 hours until next score recalculation", and it is ticking over an hour earlier.

In other words, at 11:30 am my time the score recalculation ticker ticks over, but the actual calculation comes one hour later.

jelco wrote:After a lot of hassling cheesemoo0's server is in the air and registered to the Ladder. Yes, I know that server ID 11 is missing, it's reserved. EDIT: Nevermind what was here, the only thing of importance is that I can't easily swap around servers to fix the broken order so we'll have to wait for a possible next server to fill up the hole.

maybe its somesort of a sign that "11" is suppose to be allocated to some server

How new is the 60% ragequiter thing? I've only just noticed it.

What it is: A way of shaming players who disconnect way too often.
What it's supposed to do: Make the username appear red if they've got a 60% disconnect rate.
What it actually does: Make you wonder who the fuck #670712 is.
