I'm pretty sure you could use the darwinia editor to do the general landscape, darwinia buildings (spawns), starting MWGs, etc. You could probably make adding the MW only stuff easier by putting placeholder buildings in the co-ordinates you want the unavailable item, then alter the text file later on. Also, copying info from official levels.zanzer7 wrote:Also, I imagine you can use the Darwinia map editor for some stuffs, but I might be completely off here.
I did try 5 minutes first of all (it being the default) but i found that the initial push was usually the one that won, I wanted to give more time to let the enemy push back. I'll look at the hill problem and try and sort that out.Xocrates wrote:1) I felt 10 minutes was too long for such a straightfoward map, I felt 5 minutes as the default might be better.
2) Since the center is on top of a rather steep hill, it becomes very easy to defend with a couple of formations since enemy grenades bounce back. I would flatten the center a bit to make it a bit more challenging
With regards to this one, just extract everything in it to the Multiwinia folder. The files are organised as need be.mmaestro wrote:How do you go about installing additional maps?
