Multiwinia Forum issues

Postby sfericz » Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:11 am

I'm not sure where to put this thread, so I'll put it here.

Multiwinia's "New thread" icon isn't lighting up for me when there is a new thread. Sometimes it works but rarely.

Does anyone know a quick fix for this issue? I'm having the same results on both the FireFox and I.E. browsers.

(The other sections are working though, just not Multiwinia.)

Maybe it doesnt realize that you have left and come back? Try logging out before going offline.

Good idea, but this issue has been present since the Multiwinia forums has been up, for me.

Its not that big of deal, but thought maybe Neothermic might want to take a look.

This can happen if your cookies go south. Log out and clear any cookies for the introversion.co.uk domain, then log back in, and read tracking will resume when you've been away from the forums for more than an hour.

My cookies are cleared every time I close my browser. (Maybe that is the problem?) But lets not forget, only the Multiwinia section is doing this, Uplink, Darwinia and Defcon all work fine.

I will give full access to the introversion.co.uk domain to my HD and see if that clears it up.

(Again, this is no big deal) but it might be a ploy to convince you to change to phpbb3? heheh /me runs and hides within the cookies
