sync error - explained - blitzkrieg turret / airstrike bug

Had sync error. logfile to follow once I remember my hosting's password :? Ahhhhh, haven't used that one in years!

Here's my logfile

It was on the Dedwinia Test server, can't recall the map name, game was blitzkrieg between xander and myself. Seemed to happen shortly after I called in an airstrike against a gunturret, if that's any help.

edited - thread name so it shows up better / more obviously in searches. Also, thanks xander for the explanation :)

This particular sync error was caused by a well known bug, hence I did not see any reason to report it. :\

What bug is this? I tried searching, but got only as far as a single post mentioning a "turret-airstrike bug", although can most likely work out what it is / does by myself. Is this something covered in the beta forum (which I can't access)?

Yes, it is covered in the beta forum. I thought that it had made the troubleshooting forums, as well. Basically, on many of the blitz maps, the player who controls the center flag is supposed to be given airstrikes, rather than turrets, as reinforcements. However, the two clients do not give the same reinforcements. Thus, when someone tries to place an airstrike or turret, the game syncs out.
