There have been a few people posting with this issue, but I have not seen a solution other than 'I got the file elsewhere so I'm good now thanks' but I'm bring slow and cannot find the file elsewhere either. Here is the debug code minus my auth key ;)

Autopatch version 003 2008-07-13 vista
Config{ dl = "C:\Users\Xanthum\AppData\Local\Introversion\Multiwinia\update",
manifest = "",
sizeOnly = No,
respawn = No,
launch = Yes,
mode = "upgrade",
doNothing = No,
runCopier = Yes,
revert = No }
APP_DIR: C:\GAMES\Multiwinia
authkey file in user profile? Yes
authkey file app dir? No
version file exists? Yes
Appdir writable? Yes
Running Vista? Yes
Elevated? Yes
RUNNING DOWNLOAD... DownloadItem{
valid = Yes,
url = "update.introversion.co.uk/autopatch/manifest.php?version=retail.en.1.2.0&key=LALALALALALALA!INSERT KEY HERE!LALALA!&game=Multiwinia&mode=upgrade",
write = No,
fpath = "",
resume = Yes,
}

I have run the game in administrator mode as well, but it makes no difference.

Thanks for your time,

Xanthum

Just in case I'm not the only one which finds it easier on the eyes to read this in code, here:

Code: Select all

Autopatch version 003 2008-07-13 vista
Config{ dl = "C:\Users\Xanthum\AppData\Local\Introversion\Multiwinia\update",
        manifest = "",
        sizeOnly = No,
        respawn = No,
        launch = Yes,
        mode = "upgrade",
        doNothing = No,
        runCopier = Yes,
        revert = No }
APP_DIR: C:\GAMES\Multiwinia
authkey file in user profile? Yes
authkey file app dir? No
version file exists? Yes
Appdir writable? Yes
Running Vista? Yes
Elevated? Yes
RUNNING DOWNLOAD... DownloadItem{
   valid  = Yes,
   url    = "update.introversion.co.uk/autopatch/manifest.php?version=retail.en.1.2.0&key=LALALALALALALA!INSERT KEY HERE!LALALA!&game=Multiwinia&mode=upgrade",
   write  = No,
   fpath  = "",
   resume = Yes,
}
Also, as far as I know there's still the other thread in this very forum, and a solution was never posted I think.

No one ever figured out why it was happening. That's why no solution was posted. :P

Well. I can't get 1.2.0 to test, since the official website now carries 1.2.3. Download it, and hopefully, if you stay up to date, it won't happen again.

Thanks!

Thank you!

Have you updated to 1.2.4? (Look at the bottom right of the main menu.)
