Steam version: Cannot Connect

Yes, I've read the Connection Problems sticky

Anyways, I just got this game on steam and fired it up. Steam autopatches so I figure version 1.2.3 is the correct version. I can't join any server online. When I host a game none of my friends can see it. I've tried port forwarding. Doesn't work. I've even opened my DMZ and that doesn't work and if that doesn't work I have no idea what it could be.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I've tried connecting with the port forwarding checked on and off. Windows Firewall is turned off. I added multiwinia to Kasperski's exceptions list. I've turned off Kasperski.

Me and a friend just bought Multiwinia on steam, we cant host and or join each other's games but we can join other ppls game ..

This is _VERY_ annoying .. we have turned off firewall and everything .. still dont help.

For some combinations of routers, the one hosting the game has to forward Multiwinia's ports (well, mostly port 4000, UDP) to his PC and enable the "Port Forwarding" option in "Help and Options/Settings/Other Options".

Iv tried port forwarding, turning off everything on my side.. no results, we both have same routers.

Keep getting connection attempt 1,2,3,4 .. for the record, this happends in Defcon to.

This is pretty much the problem. I just couldn't be bothered to change my router settings, because it's very complicated - and not much fun. Just use the ladder severs, and have a game on them. That way you get ranked to!
