Does lowering the resolution or lowering the sound mix frequency and number of channels change something?
I also have this problem after upgrading to windows XP x64, has anyone got this game running ok in a 64 bit os or is this just XP so far?
Tried all the fixes suggested in the post, got the latest nvidia drivers and sound drivers.. tried it at a lower res and windowed still does the same thing..
The game did update when run for the first time through steam..
