Singleplayer = Multiplayer ?!

i just opened a Singleplayer game just to play against an AI until my friend comes back.
it was a CTS game (wintermap). i setted up my configurations and someone joined my 'SINGLEplayer' game, lol...
it is really great!!
so we/i played a multiplayer game as a singleplayer game. was a cool game.. thx for playing if you read this, mate.
my friend didnt went back so i hosted a next Singleplayer game to play against an AI, but... again (?), a human player joined again , lol.
i started the game, because a MP game is much more fun instead of a SP game, and Multiwinia crashed.
needed to close it via task-manager.
that all happened in the last 5 mins.
in the 1st confused SP to MP game that mate told me:
'my singleplayer game was listed in the multiplayer games list' 0o
