"failed to contact key server"

hey everyone, i just got my copy of multiwinia installed on my computer through steam, but when i try to boot it up a message appears saying "failed to contact key server"
help!

Are you connected to the internet?

Is any firewall software preventing Multiwinia from accessing the internet?

Are you trying to connect from work/uni? Are you behind a proxy?

I am connected to the internet, i tried turning off my firwall and booting it up and it didn't work. and i'm trying to connect from a home PC

Yeah, that really isn't going to be a problem. However, the message "Can not contact key server" is to do with Steam and the way they distribute keys, so I'm afraid it's a problem at their end, not ours. As it's the weekend, I can't get in contact with them, but if this problem persists and others are having it, I'll see what we can do.
