OpenGL fullscreen makes screen go mad!

This is not happening to Multiwinia only, but to all applications to do with 3D and full screen.
When I open Multiwinia for an example, it causes HEAVY screen flicker and tearing and critical error is displayed.
Which causes exiting the program and the screen going nuts. It happens if default rendering is in OpenGl and fullscreen, but not happening when rendering is in Direct3D. Opening a fullscreen program which renders things into Direct3D fixes the screen again. How to change my computer settings so that it renders things in Direct3D by default?
