This is quite obvious too I think, when you start with a shorter path to the circle that has to be competed, not the middle one, you have a great advantage, because not only will you hold the circle, if you're any good you'll press on and get the second spawn surrounding that circle, giving you a absolute winning position, becase now you can attack the middle from beside as well from home spawn.
Suggestions:
1. Move the mention circle more to the middle
2. Give the disadvantages player a advanantage in taking "home circle" of enemy, you can do this for example, by shortening the distance and great advantages's for attacking
3. Move center circle more to the disadvantages player
