Just a thing or two.

Well I don't have multiwinia YET but I have played the demo and just thought of one or two things that I think would make it even better than it already is.

Outbreak: A game mode in witch all teams start with a large army and within the first minute one army catches a disease (with either a good affect or a bad effect). The goal of this team is to keep the other teams guessing witch team has the disease well they slowly spread it untill they infect every one. The goal of the noninfectys is to A: find out who is infected, to do this they vote: every one can vote once even the infecty and once every one has voted (has to be in the first two minutes) either a: if they voted right, the infecty is muted and they are all teamed against him but his infection takes affect makeing his spawners go into over drive for a chosen amount of time and the debuff/buff takes hold of all his units or b:if the voted wrong every one is muted and they have no way to tell who is infected for another three minutes at witch they are all teamed against the infecty (if they are still alive) no matter what; goal B for the noninfectys is to kill all of the infected teams units at any cost. The goals of the infected team is A: to confuse the teams into voteing for the wrong person giveing them more time to prepare and hopefully geting them to kill of one of the noninfectys for you, goal B is to either infect all of the other teams units or take all the spawns once the infected person takes a spwner it will only spawn infected units so if a difrent team takes it back from him it will spamn his guys pre infected (but still under his control).

And my other idea was that some how in one of the game modes or spawned from a crate you should get a unit that you control from first person (much like the satlite dishes aiming system). This unit could be a very strong vehicle like unit that you have in a certain game mode and you have to keep it alive to win OR it could just be a darwinian with some power (ie. can fly, lots of health, only throws grenades, etc., etc.) that is spawned from a crate that you can command like a officer or armour or that you can chose to control from first person seting the rest of your units to a temporary AI. I don't know why I just think that it would give the game a lot more depth if you could get up and personal with the battle well takeing a break from the comand seat for a short period of time.

Any ways I just wanted to post these even though I know they aren't that good and have no chance of ever being in the game. And just so this isn't a useless topic if you have any overinflated ideas that could greatly affect some aspect of the game play and no developer in their right mind would ever use post it here!

For idea 1: I don't think it'll mix too well with the MW topic. Play TWGs on the forums instead :)
For idea 2: Squads. Already there. Have you tried controlling them with an XBox controller?

No I haven't tryed it with the Xbox controller seeing as I am on the computer and have only played the demo (hopeing to get the game in an hour or two but probably won't). And I just threw that out there as you can see that was my first post so I don't know all that much about this game.

I used one or two in there. Not my fault, I was makeing a list and got careid away so each point on the list was a sentence of it's own then I threw in a line or two in brackets and deleted the brackets cause it look better with out them and read better too.

You have an infinite army of colons, semicolons and possibly even worse at your disposal.

I used a colon or two. And I threw in a semi colon or two (in the wrong spot I know that). But long story short I was typeing it up really fast and didn't bother to read as I typed because I had stupid project that I was suposed to be working on for my religion class (I completly messed it up I really don't want to read it seeing as I wrote it as a comedy presentation and my teacher will kill me for it not to mention I used sophisticated humor and my class is a bunch of retards and gangstas).

Religion class might mean he's a paladin. :P

Also, Phevnil, the faster you type, the slower we can read it. If we can read it. So most people, who are as busy as you, won't read it.

Ya fear me I'm a level fifty two paladin with a plus five bonus on speed typing/reading. Any ways I just wanted to say some thing that would be very nice would be actually able to set more than one point for your MW to walk along (ie. tell them to one place then hold shift and click another place so that when they reach the first destination they move on to the second). It would make getting part of your force to walk behind the opposing force much easier.

Something like that has been suggested for defcon, and very probably, for darwinia, and wasn't done.
Also, easier does not always equate with more fun.

If you find Multiwinia tedious, then, well...

I don't find it tedious at all XD. I just am horible at multitasking so I prefer being able to set up complicated manuvers in advance instead of throwing them together as I go.
