it would be nice if you can setup a Co-Op mode in all Game Modes also for 3 player games and 4 player games of course as well.
it is for sure that a co-op mode doesnt exist in a 1V1 match.
but 2 humans (Team1) against an AI (Team2), is nice too. especially for newbies for example.
or like a 3 player assault game. 1 player has an advance!
or 2 newbies against an advanced guy.
There doesnt exist a co-op in Rocket for example.
You are going to ask, why a co-op in rocket?
well:
why a co-op in Domination!!?
if a teammate is going to win in Rocket mode and you are both in team blue for example, Team Blue wins the game.
as the same as you play in Domination mode...
your teammate is going to win because he has the most points but at least team blue wins!!
isnt it that simple?!
Co-Op Mode everywhere

yes....
and yes!
each player owns a rocket.
it is 2V2 for example right now.
2 players (Team 1) VS 2 players (Team 2) [Rocket Mode]
your mate in T1 has 100% fuel and 100 Passengers. he launches his rocket. T1 wins. T2 loses!
exactly in Domaination...
your mate in T1 has got more points after time expiration. T1 wins. T2 loses!
so each team has a +100% chance to win at least.
the question is:
what if both team players laucnhes thier rockets in the same µ-second?
EDIT:
so, back to your idea. a 2player team with 1 rocket.
this map HAS-TO be a Co-Op map ONLY.
anyways if you play a 4 player game, no teams, there are 4 teams and only 2 rockets.
it will be a mass!
you have to capture the rocket at first as you have to do in a 3 player map rocket game.
but so, there are 3 teams and 3 rockets, each team can only capture 1 rocket!
the fact is:
which Team will prevail?!
that guy who launches his rocket -> that team is going to win !!

about:
this is not the aim!!!
the fact is:
which Team will prevail?!
that guy who launches his rocket -> that team is going to win !!
but at least, it is only an example to understand about a Co-Op mode in each game modes....
the Rocket one will be the most complicated. thats why i explained something.
in all other game modes it would be much easier!
Blitzkrieg for example. much easier to understand.
2V2
to better understand it:
Why impractical?
if your teammate launches his rocket at first (damn i wanted to write nuke) you both win this game. Your team wins!
maybe you understand then why each team will have +100% more chances to win.... but well.. forget about math. it is only FUN!

However, when custom maps come about, it'd be nice to have the option of coop in this game-mode. (Two teams, one rocket).

Meh. Introversion have enough to do on their plates as is. However, unlike SOME COMPANY owned by Joe Siegler, I don't see them taking 12 years to develop a patch for Multiwinia... You never know what they come up with. It's better to have a game released to get some sort of reward to reap instead of attempting to make it picture perfect and then suddenly slamming to a halt because their getting their balls sued 'til they drop.
