they got a version of it on tele now its called "i survived a japanese tv show" and the host is the same guy from takeshi's castle but without his side kick and henchman.

You can't have an MMORPG based around characters who only have a basic AI, and are in fact identical in every way.
Also, Introversion is about innovation, and another "go here and kill things" grind fest is certainly not that.
However, you are correct. IV creates these games because they enjoy it, not because the market needs another generic shooter jammed down their throats. Indie development is about people designing games because they want to do it, not because someone wants them to.
