Public patch notes?
Edit: Apparently they now have a "testbed" thing, and John added a time limit... >.o; (testbed version)
Also, Multiwinians now give off the lasers that engineers used to when collecting crates. Now that's funny. =P

I think it's only supposed to fix achievements for Steam. No idea if I'm right though.

It has. Please, check your facts.
It didn't update automatically for me either. I browsed the servers a few minutes ago and all were incompatible, so I verified my files under Steam, and then it updated.
