What the heck happened to the path finding in 1.1?!?

I haven't played in a while so I was excited to see the new patch notes. But after one game on Barriers To Progress I don't think I want to play anymore. Almost every single movement order I wanted to give, they wanted to zig way back to some spawn, then to where I wanted them to go. Just the slightest little bump in the terrain seemed to cause the problem. And I thought ordering up/around hills was annoying before, heh. Unless it's just Barriers To Progress, this seems rather game-breaking to me.

Try to hold ctrl. key, I believe the're working at it, whatever you do don't stop playing!

Thanks :) I just saw the thread about the problem in 'The Future' forum.

I think my pinky is going to hurt from jumping between shift and control so much, but thank goodness there's a solution. I wish the faster camera and straight-line movement was default!

I've noticed odd pathing behavior also... kinda frustrating at times when I want them to ascend a simple (if steep) hill, but they want to go back through the hostile laser fence to get to where I want them to be.

It's weird, it seems to work ok when you are actually on a hill but if you are on lower terrain and try to go over one it can sometimes send you on totally insane routes.

I'm not talking mountains here, just regular hills where it would take the same time to go over it as around it.

funny one :), and I call it a breaktrough since you're not totally ignoring your inner voice that says don't ignore jordy... Also I think I have more class as a teapot in comparison of your black stone age appearance

Well, since we're going off topic anyway...
The pot is the one on the right. The tea kettle is the one on the left. If the analogy is to be followed, Jordy, you are the one with "black stone age appearance".

No! Stone age pots are made of steel!
