Are the Ants 'Fire Ants'?

Postby stonberg » Mon Sep 22, 2008 11:02 am

I discovered to my dismay yesterday that the ants are flame-proof

So, some kind of flame-retardANT..?

They are also quite hard to kill !

I bombarded them at least 3 times, and they were still alive... (yes, the cake is a lie)

The ants are one of the only things i'd really love to see getting nerfed. They really can't be killed easy, and can easily take out a spawn point if they're near it.

I've dealt with them q. quickly with a conveniently placed gun turret (manually controlled to take down the ant hills).

If they're in your spawn area, then the WMs can take them down, but you have to devote all spawning MWs to the task and it takes some time.

I'd guess that an air attack (probably not napalm though) or nukes could also deal with them (not tried this yet though). Shields or rage might also help perhaps..?

Stick a formation near the ants' nest. The formation will mow them down as the come out.

That is intended behavior.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.
