It's limited to the Cinemaware version of the game, sold in U.S. shops.
if you bought the game from IV's online store, from Steam, or from a shop in the UK, you won't get it, I think.

You do realise that most people don't wear their keys around their neck, and that keychains are meant to be short and attached to a keyring (which in turn holds the rest of your keys in a small managable bundle i.e. pocketable and/or attached to your belt/hip/trousers), right?

i have friends that always hang their keys around the neck because it's one of the safest places to be. Also, depends how long your rope around the keys are, it doesn't always hit your face.

It seems that once you get passed the Jr. High age where all you had was a house key this would cease to be practical. My current key chain has my truck key (and fob), keys to my parents house, key to my brother's house, my apartment key, my trunk key, and gun lock key all on it. Wearing it around my neck would be not only loud, but incredibly inconvenient.

Hmm... I got my copy at Frys (likely the same one) as well. I had a little keychain too. It is my friend.
It might be a little bit difficult for either of us to get there.
Where near Seattle do you live? I live across the water.

After buying some food to hold a siege,
I'll install the game, invite some friends who played Darwinia, block all my messenger contacts who don't like the game (I'm not quite sure to consider them as friends ... but ... you know sometimes you need to socialize), lock myself in and start the multi player for a day of 2 or maybe more ...

Keycord??? Do you mean a lanyard, this term is in the dictionary, it's a navy term for a cord around neck in which something useful is tied, say a whistle, a penknife or an electronic access card (in the modern world)?
Navy and scout varieties are generally made from thin multicoloured rope and are fairly ornate.

It's definitely a lanyard. Though keycord makes more sense. But it's wrong.

I didn't know either the word lanyard and keycode, but stlap.
Stlap doesn't make sense for me, either.
