I'm just saying that maybe they could of said that. Nowhere does it say "sit tight and we will tell you if your in".

And I did read somewhere in this thread that signing up for the beta was finished. Whether that is true or not is something else.

We will start the process soon with a small number (around 50) of testers running a non-playable "Hardware Test" build. This build will pit 4 AI players against each other and will report back to us with frame rates, hardware stats, problems etc. During this phase we're looking at hardware compatability problems, frame rate issues etc. After this we'll start rolling out playable versions for the testers to break, gradually adding applicants to the test group in batches of 50 or more.

That kind of implies it.

:? Okay, I get it. Maybe I should have a brain reset like those beta testers.

Well if there is still any chance of testing this at any time I would love to take part. I have been a chronic fan of Darwinia since the first time I ever encountered the previews for it and would just adore the chance to be part of this.

Once again I get on the beta testing bandwagon pretty late. Perhaps I should also add the specs on my older computers, to see if I can get in this time. :p

Especially since I'd love to beta test Multiwinia, I've been waiting a lot for this one. :)

I'm with you on the "I doubt I'll make it, but want to play ASAP" :)

However, I did the same thing with the computers, but only one computer's stats is sent. If you resend, it overwrites your last application.

Hey, I'd love to get in on this. I love introversion products. I must be on these communities under 6 different names, I keep forgetting them all, dating back to '02-'03 when I started playing uplink.

clever thinking there, "I've got very few posts due to unknown previous accounts, so in fact I've been a contributing fan for years. Can I get on beta?" I admire your nerve.

Of course, the person in question would have mentioned who he/she was previously known as, if they wanted to be recognised, that is.

surely you should still have the sign on email with your details still? Also surely you can't register more than one account with the same email address? Unless starman has had 6 email addresses? :D

When was that, Jelco?

I did the exact same thing about three years ago, from Hotmail to Gmail.

I still use my hotmail for MSN/WLM though - partly for the (no longer necessary) convenience of Windows Live Messenger checking my email for me, but mostly to avoid the inconvenience of having to update every place I've written the @hotmail address ... Not to mention making sure to get all my contacts the updated address.

I really should get around to that sometime, so I can completely abandon hotmail - however, come to think of it, I still use it to sign up for spam-prone services. Perhaps I should create an @live address instead. That would also look much better for Messenger, but ... meh.

Decisions.

Meh. I've been in these forums for a year now, but I've never touched my account until now.

And the first thing I did was to sign up for this.
