Look at the post dates for other posts in this thread, and compare them to today.

There's always the possibility of being accepted into a new beta phase, though - either way, welcome to the forums

Reset? What the f-ck are you talking about?

Beta testers will have an advantage for about 10 minutes, until someone else comes up with a better strategy. That is exactly how Defcon worked out. For about 30 seconds, the beta testers pwned everyone. Then real players came along.

Yes, all the beta testers will be reset and their memory erased.

Could someone just fill me in on what is happening?

Due too a very long series of unfortunate events, i have been unable to access this site for some time. I saw the beta available, said "wow", and signed up. Filled out the form, read the agreement, and pressed submit.
Now what? A quick look at this thread tells me that the beta is finished

so I'm not expecting that. But when you join the beta it just says "Submitted". No download link, no "Sorry, maybe next time", no "we will email you if something comes up". Not even a thank you for your participation.
Is is just me or am I (and most likely others) being left in the dark.

Oh, and with the beta tester 'reset brain' suggestion, perhaps a better option would be to ban them from playing for the first 5 minutes. After that, it would be fair game.

The beta is currently under way. You sign up for the chance of being selected for it, not for immediate testing which is why there is no download link.

We don't know whether or not they're going to pick more people, but that is possible. So as long as the beta is underway and as long as you signed up you have a chance of getting picked.

Other than that is speculation.
