I had eye surgery after so much pain

Postby presserffg » Tue Oct 09, 2018 12:36 pm

If I could only go back 7 months, I would never let my ophthalmologist perform cataract surgery on me. I have had nothing but problems; unable to see distance or closeness, double vision, depression, etc., after having my right eye supposedly fixed for distance. The doctor went back in my right eye to make a slit in the lens, blaming it on my astigmatism, which she diagnosed as slight astigmatism. There was no empathy from my doctor and the office was run like a factory!I had traumatic cataract with zonular dehiscence. I had surgery after so much pain for so many days then YAG capsulotomy done. Since then a few days I was ok but now I face so much pain. I don't know what to do, I am a poor person and am a student.

Most people enjoy vision that’s permanently corrected after the procedure is complete. This means that you won’t need to worry about repeat visits to your optician or constantly changing your prescription as your vision deteriorates. All you’ll need to commit to is one annual checkup to ensure everything is still looking good. Additionally, you’ll be able to wear any type of sunglasses you choose. You won’t be restricted by prescription sunglasses. Once you’ve invested in the benefits of laser eye surgery, you won’t need to spend more money on your eyes for a long time. You might never need to drop another dollar on eye care at all.

This one is obvious. It’s why you’re reading this article to begin with. You want laser eye surgery to improve your vision. All the surrounding benefits of laser eye surgery are great. But they all come back to one major point. Your vision will be dramatically improved. Most people who have this procedure will see at least an 85% improvement in vision. Some may even enjoy almost-perfect vision after the surgery is complete. Your overall results will depend on where your “starting point” is. However, the improvement in every patient will be profound. Talk to a laser eye specialist about the current condition of your eyes and how this procedure can improve your specific situation.

Dr. Yaldo was Michigan’s first to perform CATz Lasik, the most precise LASIK treatment available in the world, surpassing even the most advanced wavefront-guided Lasik eye surgery treatment. Read Story.

In over 95% of cases, CATz topography-guided Lasik eye surgery produces “Super-Normal Vision”, which is defined as better than 20-20 vision! The new topography-guided Lasik technology — known as Customized Aspheric Treatment Zone (or “CATz”) — maps the patient’s cornea by measuring nearly 7,000 points of light, versus the approximately 200 points of light measured with traditional wavefront technology.

While just a small number of surgeons in the U.S. are currently trained and certified to offer topography-guided LASIK, the procedure and related technology have been used widely for more than a decade throughout Europe, Asia, and South America. “CATz is by far the most precise LASIK technology available, and it represents a huge leap forward,” notes Dr. Yaldo. “I am proud to have played a role in its development over the past several years. I’m also delighted to be one of the first surgeons in the nation to offer what is now the new gold standard for LASIK.” https://yaldoeyecenter.com/
