Hay i really liked multiwinia, but i tried 2 find a game last night and there was no one at all on. I sat in a loby for 30 mins waiting for another living being. Is multiwinia dead? :(

It couldn't be more dead, any more dead and it would turn into a zombie...
It has been this way pretty much since launch, which goes to show you what a crappy company IV for supporting there games...
I'm an hateful person by fault of Multiwinia, I saw my one true love die in front of my eyes, what else do you expect...

And how would IV supporting Multiwinia bring more people to play it?

I'm pretty sure stuff can be more dead than this. If not, it's a pretty lively world we live in.

I still play on the weekends when I have free time. I hope the release of the source code will help breath new life into Multiwinia.

I haven't played in ages, basically life happened and I have no time to play anymore, especially given my rubbish connection. I did love it though, some time in the future, when IV takes over the world I will play again ;)

It was said as if the source code had not yet been released.

If you join some of the Steam Multiwinian groups and then invite people to play, you can get some 3-4 player games going as I have done last week. It is possible to get games, just needs some effort and oragnization.

Steam group leaders really need to organize weekly events, for 1 game night a week or something like that.

I must confess I had a play at Multiwinia last night, reminded me how great it was. Hopefully I'll be able to get online and play a bit. :P

What Multiwinia needs is an option to minimize the game at the server browser and automatically notify you when there's a game availabe, so that you can do other stuff while waiting for a game to come on. It'd also be good to have a lobby in there so that you can figure out who else is waiting and be able to communicate with them. Maybe that'd un-dead-ify the game!

I second this idea! It would be great if there Multiwinia had a lobby for people looking for a game.

i have found people

playing this game in Steam
but lobby is essential in this game. i have seen old games 1998 games that still live because of multiplayer chat lobbies
