Introversion

How were they spawned into this place? or mutated, Ive only been able to get bits of info...it would be nice to have a general thread about it. Anything would be helpful

I think there's some info about that in the player's manual

There's a bit of backstory on them in the level descriptions. Green and Red are obvious, of course. The Greens are the original Darwinians, the Reds the ones formerly corrupted by the Virus, but they somehow got rid of it, yet still retained their Redness and hostility towards the Greens.

Also, of course, you'll find Fan Fiction around here.

I thought the old reds turned into black (evilwinians) and later the greens split up into red, yellow and blue.

well the steam players manual is gay then, all it tells you about is the modes, and i though evilwinians were the severly corrupted reds?

There's a timeline on page 5 of the Steam manual.

All evidence seems to point to them being all derived from green darwinians.

From that page in the manual:

"decline in natural polygons" --> "darwinian code deviations discovered - labeled multiwinians"


There really isn't much to it, darwinians divided themselves into tribes fighting for natural resources, and eventually the different tribes just evolved into multiwinians.
