I have a REAL question though, which is slightly related - what is the best program to use when I want to convert ogg and other music files to mp3? (with LAME preferrably)
I'm quite a perfectionist when it comes to quality

Haven't tried converting OGG, but give ffmpeg a go. It it console-based but once you figure out all the commands you should be fine (also finding it online can sometimes be hard).
