I think they do the same thing with live MW's as they do with souls, and then convert them into more ants.

Ants take both DGs and souls back to their nests. Every soul/DG that is brought back to the nest is used to create three more ants. Maybe they feed the souls to their larvae. Or perhaps, like leaf cutter ants, they allow the DGs and souls to grow molds and fungi, and eat those.

That's what I thought.

1. You didn't notice till now? ><
2. You can select them and tell them to move, it's a glitch like with the UFO.
3. What everyone else said.

Question: If an ant-nest is destroyed do ants still pick up enemies/souls (an important part of their attack)
Also what happens to the multiwinians/souls that are being carried when their ant nest is destroyed.

They just keep carrying them. IIRC the Multiwinians get killed into souls eventually. The ants not carrying anything will try to carry stuff. The ants carrying stuff will go around randomly until killed.

k?

Ya, I figured ants would probably do that. I never took the time to watch though because I would either be focused on something else, or my MW's would already finish them off before I could see what happened.
